What capital punishment
Capital punishment, also known as the death penalty is a legal process in which a person is put to death by the state as a punishment for a crime. In recent centuries execution has become rarer in most countries. The issue of a death penalty is a controversial, and much disputed topic. Roughly a third of the countries in the world allow the death penalty.
